I know that there have been poles like this before but as the GP32 emulation scene has been hotting up recently + the amount of Noob's that have joined us Happy Game Parkers, I thought It would Intresting find out what people want (most) out of hand held wonder...

+ I know a game engine is not an emu but im sure there are people out ther who want one.

Remember If there could only ever be one

Feel Free to post up your 'Choice' and why as well....

Thanks........................ :)

Amiga Amiga Amiga Amiga Amiga Amiga Amiga Amiga Amiga Amiga Amiga Amiga Amiga Amiga Amiga Amiga Amiga Amiga Amiga Amiga Amiga Amiga !!!! FOREVER ! :)

I was soooo close to voting x86 for Jazz and Tyrian, but had to vote SNES on the basis of more RPGs = more gaming time.

Amiga

more games, better games, better apps

Genesis will win this, but the Amiga would be far better, just most of the people who will vote wont know it :p

Amiga, I can live with all the consoles being slow or using a frameskip. But a full speed Amiga would be great.

I was really tempted by the game creation entry, as in a former life I was a game designer and now an artist, but.... Amiga. Old habits die hard, had one since '88 and still got 3 now (they just seem to breed you know...)

ZWas the amiga huge in the UK, I live in the states and have never seen one of these. When I was younger one of my friends had a c64 but I have never played or even seen an amiga before. The system was not huge in the US but the same goes for the sega master system I never knew a single person who acctually owned one but on the other hand every one had a NES.

The Amiga was/is huge in the UK and most of europe as well, it may not have been quite as popular in the states but it certaintly still had a loyal fanbase there. and personally i think the nes sucked compared to the master system why the nes was so popular in the US I don't know, I'm not saying it was terrible but the US seemed nes obessed and so missed out on other quality systems :(

You've never played Star Control 2 have you? ;)
Is 100hrs+ gaming time (adventure, arcade, strategy combined) enough?

I voted x86 (DOS, for those not computer savvy) just for that great game! Not to be judged by the more mediocre followup, SC3.

There are many other good games, of course... every system has its "signature titles"; the PCEngine had space shooters, the Genesis had sports and "run and jump" platform games like Sonic.
DOS had platform games with weapons (Commander Keen, Bio Menace, Jazz Jackrabbit, Hocus Pocus...) and DOS had Apogee, one of the best game companies in existence back then for how fun their games were to play!

Amiga - if only for Sensi Soccer

(that's not all there is of course)

Sega Megadrive / Genesis for Shining Force 1 + 2

Which to go for....................?

Well seeing as how we've got the ST now and many old Migee games are on there anyway i'll go for the Megadrive
