Hi Guys :) ,

Just a little question as I am fairly new to the GP32. Is it possible to auto run an application (Wind Ups) when you turn the GP32 on?

TTFN,
Clare.

With the official firmware (European or Original), no. But if you flash an alternate firmware (guide at faq.gp32emu.com), you can either auto-launch anything (slower than just starting normaly, since it has to load from SMC), or get wind-ups as part of the firmware (most alternate fws have windups in them).

If you use pacrom its easy, just turn on quicklaunch under options then find your program in the filemanager, hit b over it and then press a (it should have some kind of guide on screen to tell you which button to press). reset and it should autoload! B)

I use this method to launch Windups as Im too lazy to reflash.

you can change your setting by getting back to pacrom, to do this hold L+R on boot up.

Hia,

Thanks for that, I'm a little scared of flashing my firmware though. But I might delve into it. Do you have any links on the best firmware to download?

TTFN,
Clare.

flash to mfw2 and use pacrom, aka the best filelauncher availible :)
get a auto flashing fxe at http://www.deadcoderssociety.tk/

I had a look at that site, it's pretty confusing, I really don't know what I should be downloading etc, and really don't want to do kill my GP32.
