DRM wars (Steam, Origin, Starforce, Battle.net, installation limits, etc...)

What seriously surprises me most in how little it actually surprised me is the complete lack of complaints about it being Epic exclusive. When they first announced the exclusivity deal and said the Steam version wouldn't be until next year there was a lot of chatter, people even saying they were going to boycott it out of spite. Come release day, and literally no one is against the Epic exclusive anymore. People I know personally who were complaining about it being Epic exclusive months ago still pre-purchased it intent on playing it this week. I called this out in a joke on Reddit and was downvoted.

Outrage only lasts for five minutes in the real world, or maybe five weeks online. Gets a bit boring after that point.

I mean behind the outrage there should be an understanding that this isn't a good thing, and that's still true regardless of the emotion, but lots of people online purely exist through the knee jerk immediate reaction.

Shit game anyway!
Likely said by someone who never played it... It's honestly I've been thoroughly enjoying it, Some complain it's more of the same, but that is why I thoroughly enjoy it.

However I'm not playing it on PC, Epic game store isn't the only reason although it's a big reason. I'll likely only play it on PC if and when a Linux version comes out like it did with BL2 and the Pre-Sequel. Just hoping Feral Games gets to port it.
