I like a poll that enables me to select all of the options at once. That's my kind of indecision.
Yes. No. Maybe? I don't know, can you repeat the question?
[doublepost=1554078094,1554077661][/doublepost]And to actually answer the question, I am... not? excited I guess? Like, I am, I acknowledge that this is a good thing and it looks like a great way for beginner and intermediate developers to get started with game development, but I also acknowledge that I have learned to use, like, 8 different game engines over the past 20 years and haven't had the attention span to actually develop anything more than an intro "hello world" thing.
Here's my thought. The Switch runs Unity, that was one of its key features, the ease with which companies would be able to export their Unity based games to it with only minor tweaking: why not just open up an indie licensed version for people to play with? Why develop an entirely new engine? Maybe I'm just getting old and cranky but it kind of feels like enough is enough.

I probably will get this when it's out, because I can't get any sort of computer until July due to my finances being overseen by strict people, and I've been bored out of my mind not being able to work on software. It will be good for prototyping game ideas before I get my Pyra. Who knows, maybe the simplicity will help me be more productive than I was when using C++ and SDL2.

I found this interesting blog post, supposedly by someone working at FUZE, while looking out for news.

https://edtechnology.co.uk/Blog/todays-problem-with-creating-tomorrows-programmers/

Always refreshing to see someone with a job actually allowed to express an opinion publicly.
[doublepost=1556336098,1556306515][/doublepost]I also found an itch.io profile today that appears to belong to FUZE, which has posts from half a year ago stating that they want to try to expand to Android and Playstation too.

Yeah, I have too much free time...

So, FUZE Technologies hasn't said anything about F4NS since April. I'm getting worried that it might get delayed again.

I keep checking their Twitter, and about an hour ago they made a tweet... about artwork made out of old keycaps.
[doublepost=1557242492,1557236746][/doublepost]And just as soon as I said that, I notice that Robert Banks replied to five comments on the FUZE website F4NS page today.

Good news: It's still coming!
Bad news: There will be no online gallery at launch. You will need people on your friends list to share what you make.
Worse news: I have one person on my friends list, and I barely even know them. :(

Please add me :)

FUZE just tweeted today that they're pushing the release date for FUZE4 Nintendo Switch back to July 12th.

In other news, ARRRRRRRGHH :'(

Well, they didn't make July 12th, but there is good news. Well, um, neutral news anyway. They've started a website which will host all the community content for FUZE4 Nintendo Switch.

https://fuzearena.com/

So, um, they're still trying pretty hard to get this thing released. I would too if I had spent over two years working on it like they did.

@Nintendo August 30th!

For real this time. Not an estimate, it came straight from the Nintendo horse's mouth, apparently. Their FUZE Arena website goes live on the 23rd in preparation too.

Now to see if I can actually buy FUZE4 on release day. I still have plenty of money in the bank, but I suck with handling the money they give me to spend each week.

As for what I'll be making once I get this, well, no idea yet, but I'm a huge fan of randomness and grinding, so I doubt it'll be anything terribly impressive.

FUZE Arena site went live as promised, already some activity on the forums there.

I'm also now seeing the FUZE4 listing in the Coming Soon section of the Nintendo eShop.

So tomorrow's the big day...

@Nintendo Sorry dude, I won't be able to get FUZE4 this week. Remember how I said I suck at handling my weekly spending money? I won't go into specifics for Wally's sake. Anyway, I'm going to try to ask for extra money for Wednesday next week, but I'm not sure if it'll be approved. Last time I did so was quite a while ago, when I picked up Pokémon Let's Go Eevee.
