Now sold

Hi All

Before I put it up on ebay I thought I would give the community first refusal on my Pandora. I just don't use it (or any handheld) so I decided to sell it.

How much does one sell for these days? I have the silver/grey case with (iirc) a second gen board in there. Keeps its charge well and the screen is fine but the stylus broke and the case is a bit worn.

Thanks in advance for advice and I am open to offers, PM here if you like.

Update: Picture as promised, it is a Pandora Rebirth edition. Everything works perfectly - cosmetically it is a bit worn as you can see in the image. The battery life is still excellent and it comes with the original box and power supply:

Your stylus broke? Wat?
The stylus is basically the most stable part of the whole design, how have you even managed to?

I broke the stylus of my Pandora last time I tried to use it to shove the hinge mechanism back home when reassembling my Pandora the last time. Snapped between the flange used to extract the stick from its hole and the main shaft. But since I was reassembling after removing the LCD and touchscreen connector from the mainboard (I'd managed to make it short by attempting to install an LCD cable badly), I didn't mind that I no longer had a working stylus, although for some reason I've kept the two parts and not actually chucked them out yet.

Sorry for slow reply.

I broke the stylus because I was always always holding it weirdly between three fingers (while not in use) and it snapped at the notch. No idea why just an odd habit that I have with pens, pencils etc.

The board is the rebirth one not the 1GHz. I will update the original post with a pic and username soon.

It has a resistive screen, so you can use it with your fingernail or any old pointy styluses you have lying about. Or, if the nubs are half decent, you can move the mouse and click using them. Or you can navigate the desktop using the keyboard, since it just runs xfce on top of the linux kernel, although changing things like the cpu speed or wifi connection is quite involved firing off scripts from a terminal, because the pandora app doesn't have any keyboard shortcuts.

But the seller promised to update the fp with pictures including a post-it with their forum name on it, and they haven't yet, so I can't recommend you buy anything in this thread yet.

Yes, sorry - I am having trouble with the forum image link - working on it now.

The screen works with any stylus as Levi said and you can also control the mouse pointer and buttons with the nubs.

Although I haven't been around for a while - there are plenty of people who can vouch for me that I am a genuine owner.
[doublepost=1547890111,1547888784][/doublepost]I just noticed that there is an actual trading area - can a kindly admin please move this thread? Thank you!

I am open to offers, I don't know what they go for these days.

EDIT: I have been given a ballpark figure of around €350 / US$400 / £310 but I am open to offers.

Hi all

A couple of people were interested but no-one has gone for it so it will be going up on ebay when I feel well enough to do it.
