My PS4 controller suffers from some lag also when the battery hits the last 30%. The battery life of the controller being quite weak, that makes its usable battery life even weaker (maybe 4 hours). My console is at my back as I play on a videoprojector so my body is between the console and the controller.
I had no such issue with the Dualshock 3 (PS3), it seems like technology is going backwards here...

Was considering getting the switch, but my current Amiga spending habits lately has spent me out of it for a while.

It's probably more about cost/margin optimization, they choose the cheapest components that can fit the requirements, sometimes barely.
It could also be the radio medium getting more and more crowded, there is interference everywhere between so many wireless devices today and hardware may look to be working worse now while the environment is what actually changed.

It probably is the 1st explanation then. I still use my PS3 and PS4 in the same conditions today and the PS3 controller still works flawlessly. Even though it is probably 8 or 9 years old now vs 4 months for my PS4, the battery life of the PS3 controller is also much better (at least double the time).

Reports indicate that the problem appears (almost?) exclusively in left-hand side Joy-Cons, and can manifest in input getting stuck at the current state. At the current time, the reports of problems appear to be geographically restricted.

The PS3 controller uses bluetooth and 802.11b simultaneously, muxing messages very very fast. This is almost certainly going to guarantee you better performance than a device using a single communication method.

Well, the Breath of The Wild Reviews are beginning to appear & Edge Magazine (not known for their philanthropy) has awarded the game
10/10 & afaik they've awarded less than 15 of those in the last 23 years!

I'd be happy to.. haven't a clue how to though
Click the "Edit" link at the bottom of the post. A text editor should come up. Highlight the part of the text that you want to put behind a spoiler, then click the icon to the left of the save icon that can be found at the top of the editor. A menu should open up, Select the "Spoiler" option. Then you can click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the editor window to save all changes.

Many thanks.

I think this is the first time I've ever seen anyone anywhere request a spoiler tag for a games rating score(reviews yes, scores, no), but I guess there's a first time for everything. LOL
It's not as bad as advertising a book by saying that there's a surprising twist at the end (a shoutout to my local bookstore, I'm not going to read any of your reviews anymore!), but I've noticed that especially with Breath of the Wild, there are lots of people online who would rather not know anything about the game before playing it.

According to the Nindies Showcase today, Smackdown Hawaii, the Successor of Retro City Rampage is coming to Nintendo Switch:)
This alone should be reason enough for everyone on this Board to get this Console :)

And whe get Stardew Valley, and Yoka Layee whit Multiplayer Features..

Only 3 times sleep, and 2 times work for me..

It's also coming to every other current gen system as well, the same way RCR did, but I'm very much looking forward to it, but I'll probably get it on the Vita. As it will be a few years at least, before I get an NS.

The Indie show had some cool titles, but the one I wanted to see most, they didn't mention(at least in the US show), and as far as I can tell, it's only been announced for the NS & Wii U......

Indie Showcase..

If they manage to maintain this breadth/wealth of content I'll probably be picking one up sooner than I planned to.. E3 is going to be interesting this year.

Most of those games are already available on other devices, and the ones that aren't out, will be on other devices except for the few timed exclusives that where mentioned. Now if you prefer to play portable, it may be a solid buy for you. If it doesn't matter, and you own a next gen console, or use your PC, you'll save money and time playing elsewhere. Most of these games will also be digital only titles, so keep that in mind as well.

Looks like Joel is not a fan of the Switch in this review. He says the Joycons flex on the Switch and feel flimsy. Also doesn't like the feel of the joycon controllers

Yeah, I know.. I have a PS4, Shield TV, Gaming PC and many of the games shown are available on them already or are coming (can't wait to play Yooka Laylee on PC!) but playing them all when I'm out and about or just not in front of my Living room TV is a big draw for me, particularly on something that has more screen real estate than say a Vita or 3DS & a superior quality screen with better/fully featured control options than the aforementioned. As great as all these indie confirmations are so early on, I'm hoping for some big Nintendo/Third Party AAA announcements before too long.
