GPD Win (x86 Computer / Palmtop)

I tested and decided that making a handheld wider is worse than making it thicker.
And the tests with the GPD Win showed me that at least for me, my decision was right.
Everyone thinks different about that, but no one really liked the keyboard on the Win at GamesCom.
As someone who can pick up a basketball with one hand a little wider would probably be a good thing for me.

(Besides, the Pyra is not 3cm thicker than the GPD Win)
Of course not, I never wrote this.

Because of that (and the fact that the GPD Win is wider which is worse than thicker in my opinion), the battery of the GPD Win is about 1mm thinner than the one in the Pyra.
Well, they still have space in there so they could make their battery wider and thinner, which of course would not work for the Pyra without a redesign of the case.

Of course there are. And everyone needs to make sacrifices if they want to reach a certain size.
Let's see what Nintendo does next. ;)

Geekbuying.com says it'll be shipping in 2 days. I'm looking forward to see this machine running Minecraft/VMs/Linux, guys!

I can tell you that the indigogo people have not all received theirs yet but I didn't actually expect to get it in October.

Geekbuying simply never updated their website.
They will receive it after the Indiegogo deliveries, together with all other distributors.

Its opensource, so it should be portable, at least..
But I don't know if ptitseb is a fan of truckgames,

This game is quite powerhungry, but a native port could work..
And I just found some truckgames for Dreamcast which could work whit the emu

The game (Rigs of Rods) use OGRE3D, that is pretty power hungry by itself.
I tried to run StuntRally, that is another racing game made with Ogre3D without much luck (many graphics issue, super slow), so I never tried RoR... Maybe I'll try some day, but don't have high hopes.

One of the Chinese users who has a GPD WIN (one out of the 2400 that have one from the jd.com crowdfunding) posted a disassembly guide.
It seems the battery will be simple to replace should it ever fail. Which is good to know

Well, it depends what you'd call "simple".
Yes, it's simply plugged in, as it is in the GPD XD.
But it's glued to the case. And the glue is damn hard to remove. I never managed it to remove an old battery from a GPD XD Case without breaking the old battery (which is not fun with LiPos....)

Have you tried heat?

Edit: Hold on a minute, so if the shoulder-buttons say "YSA"
