Release Minecraft (launcher)

Thanks ptitseb!

It works pretty good, all things considered. Still too slow to be really playable, but I appreciate your efforts all the same!

The optifine smart-install is a really nice feature!

Yes, still slow. But with optifine, set to "fast", with a drawing distance of 2 (I know, it's the minimum), without MipMap and without VBO, and with driver 4.10, it's almost OK.

Hmmm, seems like theres a lot of optimizing I could do. Does anyone have an optifine configuration they could send me that I could place in the correct folder?

Ugh I wish I could figure out where optifine stores its config then I could get you to send me it.

That looks WAY more playable than I can manage with some tweaking.

Ok i can send this Configuration File this Evening.
Another Thing what i will try this Evening.
Ptitseb mentioned that the Sgx 4.08. is maybe better to me @ the Gamescom.

This Video is with online playing on a Webserver with Pandora as Client. Its the CircuitBoard Minecraft Server :D
Its 1.9 not 1.10..i can try it this Evening with 1.10 but the Server will not login me there bcause wrong Version.
Do anyone from you know a IP Adress from a free 1.10 Server where i dont must be Whitelistet to play for Tests?

It work...i can play MC 1.10.2
But have Open GL Errors.

Will try to speed up with a lower Ressourcepack.
Video come soon :D

@ptitSeb
Maybe you can add some of this Functions to GLSHIM and ljwgl ?

@ingoreis :
glMultiDrawArrays, I can maybe add this, but that will probably not speed things up much...
The glPointParameteri(v) : not sure, I have to check.
all the "Query" things are about Occlusion query, that is not supported in hardware. So adding this need some software wrapper. Not sure how to do this (efficiently). Also, only Minecraft try to use this function as far as I know (but they are part of the OpenGL 1.5 specs).
And the 2 PrimitiveRestartNV : no idea what they do...

I do not know anything about that.
Every little one more can maybe Help. ;)
Thx for looking @ it :)

I install now a 8Bit Ressourcepack and will report how good it will work :)

Edit:
Also maybe an Update from Java 1.7 to 1.8 will help?
[doublepost=1472077670,1472070731][/doublepost]Wow i never believe to reach such a Speed on MC for the Pandora.
Many Thx to @ptitSeb again for Releasing such a fine Piece of Software for us :-D
And many Thx to @directive0 for giving me hims Server Adress for testing MC 1.10.2 onlineplaying.

MC is still slow when big Buildings are near but when you want to play in the Woods...
....look @ this Video.

I was realy realy realy Surprised by myself to reach this this Speed with 1.2GHZ standard Sysspeed

I will share the entire Settings for this next Days..its late here now.
Btw i used a realy fast Wlan Stick on the Pandora for this and SGX 4.10
Optifine 200 MB Swapfile, sound off,xmx350m,runned from mini menu, installed an 8x Texture pack and naturaly Optifine :D

Good Night for Today and Enjoy that Video :)

I think that more support may actually hurt, because the game may decide to use a different - possibly worse on the Pandora - rendering path based on the existence of certain extensions and hard coded assumptions about their relative performance.

I will try to make this Evening a Howto for it.
Then everyone can use Minecraft on a fresh MC Server realy fluid.
Have here a Screenshot from Yesterday with 86 Fps:

The Network Connection/loading Times are still little slow.
Moving in the Level will decrase the Fps to 20-25FPS.

I am happy...this is for me real playable :D

Look forward to hearing how you achieved this. I made a little progress myself and got almost playable last night. Nothing near where you're at! Well done!
