Apple 2 Watch with GPS

If the product is good sure, I'll consider it. It'll upload my location to the government? Sweet! That'll save me a lot of time.

Just call me Dolly folks, I'm the biggest sheeple on here.

I'd argue we need to keep tabs on people this stupid.

Though sadly it will be used to mine data to exploit the lowest common denominators of human behavior.

Like how to get people to buy the apple 3 watch

I should have written, "Apple Watch 2." One good thing about having a GPS track of your location and movements uploaded to Apple or the government is that if you are accused of committing a crime that you did not commit, then the GPS location log is evidence of where you were. If people who wear an Apple Watch 2 become abducted or lost, then the police can find them.

I wonder if there will be any way to force it to work with the Pyra. Probably not.

Honestly I can't see any "smart watch" beating my pebble, but I'd consider an Apple Watch if it managed to check these boxes (which it almost assuredly won't)

-Platform agnostic: Have it operate on any phone or platform. This is my most important item and it's a deal breaker as I'm not sure where I will go from iOS if I ever do upgrade to a newer phone (so far my plan is to make the Pyra my goto mobile device but thats not very likely either)
-Waterproof: having to worry about my environment is just not something I care to do. If the watch continues to be as delicate as it is it's not even going to be on my radar.
-Battery must be AT LEAST 3 days. 3 days is my sweet spot. Long enough to go a weekend without a cable. If they do some smart power management (cycle radios etc) its probably doable. Hard to beat my pebble's 7 days though.

Even if it managed to make those 3 things happen it's a tough sell. I'm an oldskool apple fanboy, but recently their stuff hasn't grabbed me, especially as I branch out into the world of OSS and hardware. The pyra has done more to captivate me than any device from Apple or the big 3 in the last 10 years.

The pebble I use (PT) has been an interesting device. It manages to scratch the itch of an "app watch" without needing that bulk and overhead of android or apple smart watches. It has a very readable display, its responsive, feature packed. I can't think of anything apart from media management that it can't do that another smart watch can. :\
