Tweaking and Finalizing

I know you are being deliberately provocative. I do that myself often.

I know you can't really be so black and white.

I've never liked Barbie... For reasons I would think are obvious and self explanatory.
But that does not make me the alternative you claim.
These are the products I make myself to bring joy and light to little children ( boys included ) who are still young enough to perceive and engage with my kin.

And you've already met them (people in this world, but not of this world), but you can't tell them appart from ordinary human beings. Even when put under the microscope. Most of us remain hidden in human conditioned behaviour. .. no I'm not talking about me.

I am also writing this for others who are reading... because it is pointless and stupid of me to argue with you.

Believe whatever makes you feel comfortable. I will make it easy for you to see me as a deluded fool. It's what you want. Indeed, in the universe according to ZXDunny that is exactly what I am.

Wow, gravity-deying tie-dye! That's pretty cool indeed. And no, people not of this world cannot exist - otherwise they'd be of this world. no? Unless you mean drugs? In which case I've met quite a few :)

So... just out of interest, are you just into cannabis, or are you on the harder stuff?

The violet (?) one should be available as an option to have something completely different, I know some girls who wouldn't be interested in such a thing if it doesn't come in such a color and as we all know there are guys into this too (nothing wrong with that).
Make those a lot darker (I've got sensitive eyes) and you'd have got exactly what I'd want. If there'd be a shop with wide men's clothes out of linnen or hemp with colors of a really dark rainbow, I'd get all my stuff there, unfortunately it doesn't exist and I'm no good when it comes to making clothes since I already spend all my crafting time on wood and have very little space.

Grey is available in all different nuances, and I will probably use a very very dark grey instead of a total black.

They're all smooth and matte.

While I still think that "Thinkpad Black" would be the best choice, followed by the shade used in the 600MHz Pandoras, there should be a charcoal grey I'd also find acceptable. (Possibly a slate grey too, but it's harder to make lighter greys professional without varying the texture and design to match.)

As long as the impression of professionalism it gives is significantly closer to the Thinkpad than to the cheap grey laptops I remember from the '90s or the tacky silver of the 1GHz Pandora. (Before my budget cratered, I was actually planning to buy one of those and then swap it into the black shell of my 600MHz Pandora.)

glxgears means OpenGL, not OpenGL ES, right?
Unfortunately no, there's glxgears compiled for OpenGL ES as well. It was (is?) on the Pandora as well, well before glshim was available.

But OpenGL with glshim also works a bit on the Pyra (well, with some rendering errors, etc.), glshim will be fully included in the Pyra OS.

I agree. If we are not going to get clear then I think
Black and Violet are a solid two choices.

Violet is just a really nice colour as is, but also appeals to the feminine nature.

This community could do with more feminine energy.

Off topic:
I can easily do 'dark rainbow'. In fact, that's how I started. I just ended up going full lumo because of the UV effect and my products are primarily aimed at kids, and girls in particular.

But we should talk more.

I'd prefer the RAL 9005 instead of the RAL 9011. But actually I would take every color (even pink or lemon-yellow). ;)

I'm more feminine than most females I've encountered.
But clearly your family is offended by my existence. Too bad.

Um, no it's your horrendous sexist attitude that she took offence to :)

Dunny... Behave yourself.

Me? But I've been the very soul of politeness so far!

I think the closest approximation would be RAL 9005 (#0A0A0A, "Jet black") or RAL 9011 (#1C1C1C, "Graphite black").
I guess those colour numbers are CMY subtractive colour numbers, not the RGB additive numbers us computer users are more used to. Cos in RGB those numbers are nowhere near black!

I can relate to that, categorizing things that aren't part of the anatomy as "masculine" and "feminine" always struck me as odd.

Or the frankly shockingly outdated 1950s attitude that the way to make this place more "feminine" and "friendly" is to add traditional "girly" colours :D

Had me rolling around, that one :)

I was using the term to describe a set of combined characteristics that I personally self determined (observed within myself) that I found to be diametrically opposed to characteristics expressed by most males and many females I have encountered to which I did not relate... I.e. It jarred or offended me in that there was no compassion or empathy in their decisions, behaviour, or motivations.
I recognise that the terminology is wrong as to me femininity has absolutely nothing to do with sex or gender. I am open to suggestions for a more appropriate term?

@Dunny I have my own ideas about femininity that are personal and need not even relate to 'female' human beings or even humans at all. I'm sorry I used your terminology so inappropriately. .. I would be delighted if such a word or concept actually existed that I could use instead...
... My kind have no gender. We do not reproduce that way. Your sexual rules/taboos/indulgences/role playing is very alien and absurd to us.

I apologise for using the wrong terminology. My mistake.

The colours look good in my opinion! Nothing to complain about. If this were the final ones I would flip a choose between the blue one or the grey on.
Although I would most probably take the grey one simply because it's more neutral. Even in some years.

I would love to see a Pyra in a light grey (similar to the first Game Boy).

Sorry for your loss! This sounds like an important part of the community just faded out :-(
