What are you playing this weekend/these days?

Darius Burst CS, just started on it the other night and enjoying it.
Love them games and the first level music and boss got my smiling, going to have another little session on it late tonight.

I also jumped on the HumbleBundle monthly this month
Purely because they are giving you ARK Survival Evolved as the early immediate unlock, so I have that now on Steam, going to be playing that tonight too. My mates at work have it and rave about it.
Then I'll get the rest of the games in that monthly subscription and tbh will probably cancel it after the first month, we'll see...
But paying the £8 was a bargain for ARK alone anyway, regardless of whatever the coming bunch of games will be that are also included in that price, it's still going for over 20 quid on Steam at moment

On New 3DS XL, Final Fantasy Explorers, where i now be on the Level 4 Quests,
Ace Combat Assauld Horizon Legacy +, until Mission 11
and Story of Sessions, where i upgradet my Hoe and the watter can, and played a bit..

UnEpic... started it just to have a look, but I'm hooked now... it's well made and the "sarcastic" story is pretty catching, seems like I have still many hours of playing in front of me.

It's like a SuperMetroid with RPG stats/weapons and a better map (you can also write notes on it !! After I played Morrowind I missed this function in a lot of games)

then what's the point ? you could have got ARK on the next steam sale instead? it goes on sale pretty often anyway...

Pretty much just because of ARK, I wanted to try that, so it made sense to take advantage of this offer as in a week or so I will get a bunch of other games included for that £8, it's a no brainer.
I doubt the Steam sale even offer it as low as £8, but if they do, it's for just that game. This way I'm getting at least another 4 or so games thrown in.

But I mean I will cancel the subscription after I get those, as don't really want to commit that cash each month for games which I might not have interest in.
If the games I get next week as part of this months deal are not appealing to me, they'll be put up here for grabs in the Steam Keys thread :)

According to steamdb, the lowest price recorded so far was £13.79. It may eventually get to 8 but that'll be months, possibly a year from now. £6 for an extra 5 games and you get to play it now, seems like a pretty good deal.

Thanks for the warning - after having it in my gog library for a while now, I finally installed it last weekend but did not find time to start it - maybe I wait a little longer to do so (at least till I have the tax decleration done)

I wonder how many "real" subscribers they have and wether they are still can generate some profit from people employing a strategy like you did

UnEpic is one of my favourite games from the last years and I finished an older version that has been improved a bit since then.
This title is vastly underrated.

I'm currently playing the courtesy to M.C.Escher:

and a very nice christmas present I got from a friend on GoG:

Completed Tearaway on the Vita: mixed bag, somewhere in the middle I felt disappointed, but the ending made partially up for that. Still the art style is great, awesome ideas, but it felt that it lacked in gameplay mechanics, at least I was bored several times during the game, because I was just running /rolling/jumping in an "endless" corridor.

Currently playing The Witcher 3 > there was a local deal: 9,99 (gog code) I could not resist. Looks incredible (even on my not so up to date system), and I was already impressed only navigating the menu (so many options). But I guess I am not too much of a fantasy fan and too lazy (I just don't have any interest in brewing potions, oils and whatnot) to really get into the game.

After finishing The Banner Saga and LEGO: Batman The Videogame (both great games in entirely different ways),
I'm currently playing in the original engine with the latest inofficial patch (in widescreen and with the original music in .ogg)
and in between a bit of

A metric ton of Serious Sam beta testing for Ptitseb this weekend.

...so I've actually kept my Humble Monthly subscription going, and so far, the games are all highly rated ones, high or overwhelmingly on Steam ratings.
So seems well worth it, and each has included a couple of games at the subs cost, then a few more on top of that.
So this latest one is Mad Max game, I'll probably be playing that later on

It's like Quake 3 Arena and Unreal Tournament had a child and it's OpenSource.
Has been improved a lot with the last updates.

Edit: Played online multiplayer match for the first time in about 14 years and the first time with DSL ever... and instantly won. :D

I am disappointed. Bought dead star, which can do crossplay between PS4 and PC in order to play with a friend. Just to find out that you can in fact not search for each other and group up across the system gap.

After finishing Quake 2 with both Addons (and having a blast with it), I'm now finally playing
Unreal: Return to Na-Pali with the latest patch and the S3TC Extreme End Texture packs in widescreen HD and corrected FOV.
Looking and playing very nice. :)
I've finished the base game a while ago but never really got to playing the addon (mostly due to V-Sync problems with my old ATI driver.... using Nvidia now).
