Release Vice C64 Emulator 2.3.23

Yes. If Vice aupports standard SDL joysticks, that should work.
Yep that worked I had to set both nubs as joystick and then under vice set the left nub as the joystick and the right nub as a fire. I can't get it to accept the left nub as joystick and x as fire.

Can't find the rapid fire / turbo fire / auto fire setting. Where do I activate the rapid fire button and setup the rate and which button to be used as rapid fire button?

I have a game where I have to disable the fullscreen mode in the "size settings" menu. But when I do that the mouse pointer is visible. Can I hide the mouse pointer somehow?

edit.: And I got another problem: The Plus4 Emulator has a weird sound issue. I can't hear any real music its just stuttering noise.

I read through the thread but must have missed it (if there was a resolution)--is there any way to get VICE to remember the ROM directory?

If its not saving and you don't want to use the default directory why not symlink?

Because its default directory is in the filesystem mounted from the PND file.  I'd have to hack up the PND file to put one in.

Okay, that works.

However: VICE's file picker doesn't understand symlinks to directories.  I put in a symlink to a valid "roms" directory elsewhere on the filesystem.  VICE treats the symlink like a file--"not a valid cart image", attempts to load it if I automount it, etc.  Not your bug, but maybe you could fix it in your branch?

Is your branch public?

I asked this a few months ago but didn't get an answer. Can I hide the mouse pointer when disabling the fullscreen mode? Sorry to ask this again but I couldn't figure it out on my own.

Maybe you changed some setting? I ran my vice pnd recently and i dont recall seeing a mouse pointer.

I deleted the appdata and still get the mouse pointer. Maybe I wasn't precise enough, here is a picture:

The mouse is only visible when I disable the fullscreen and let the border show up (some games I play use it)

Sorry I have to dig this up again. But today I came back to vice and tried this again but still have the mouse pointer visible when disabling the fullscreen.
Nothing I can do to hide it?

I'm on SuperZaxxon v1.72. This problem only occurs when disabling the fullscreen. When I'm in fullscreen the mouse doesn't show up. Is yours hidden even when disabling the fullscreen?

Ah, okay!
Which fullscreen setting did you change?
Trying to remove the bars? Or switching from fullscreen to windowed mode?
Because in the latter case, you'll always have a mouse pointer!

In the vice menu: Video settings -> Size settings -> and then disabling the "Fullscreen" option.

I remember fiddling around with this a few years ago, and it took me a while to achieve something I was happy with. My settings are below. Hope it helps:

EDIT: Sorry just realized you said the pointer is only visable with fullscreen disabled (it's late here). My mouse pointer shows too when disabling fullscreen. Ignore my post.

Thanks for sharing your settings! Thats exactly what I was searching for :)

Was there ever a resolution as to why we cannot type numbers in the configuration menu? I can't set a custom resolution if I can't type numbers.
