How to remove the color on the case?

Hi guys,

I'm just curious about to know how I could "clean" my Pandy from that silver color, without damaging the case? It's just that after some years of usage, there are spots where the color is already gone and that makes the Pandy look less... elegant might be the right word ^^
Also I always wanted to have a black Pandy anyways ;)

I'm not aware of any solvent you could use to attack the paint which wouldn't also soften the plastic beneath, so I think your only option is that of polishing the colour off.  Beware though, all the black units are also painted black to conceal the shrinkage lines that are apparently evident on some parts of the plastics, so it might be simplest just to paint over everything with a fresh black coat.

Sandpaper.  Anything I can think of will cause some form of damage to the plastic while trying to remove the paint

Just buy a new case.
Everything else is just a weird waste of time.

The problem with repainting the case is, that after some time, that color would disappear, like it happend with the silver one. :/

Wouldn't a sandblaster be a better idea?

But all the cases are AFAIK coloured in silver :(

If you have a sandblaster and are careful or know what you are doing it may be a better option.  I don't know, and can't remember having used one.  I would probably use sandpaper since I have it.

My uncle is a carpenter, so he has one. :) But I'm worried, that he uses the wrong pressure and the case gets broken :/

Let your Pandora have it's wear marks and battle scars.  It earned them through use.

Maybe instead of spending time polishing the Pandora in your uncle's shop, sweep the floor and make money to go towards the Pyra?

Maybe buy a spare case from ED's store?
Black ones were cheap IIRC.
I'm actually 3D printing a clear (frost, really) case.
I started and done most then lost interest.

Done whole top case and stylus. Didn't continue. might pick it up agaib.
