Emulator brings x86 Linux apps to ARM devices

I have a beta build from them modified for softfp and glshim. This is on a CC. My GHz has much better framerates, but the screen is super broken :)

Wow,great...

...i thought not that its so much improvement.

Great to see that it have more speed than ever UnrealTounament Tests ;)

Cool work ^_^

Even if I gave you their beta, you'd need a license for it. You'll just need to wait.

Yay, finaly we have this great game onto the Pandora, I am still a big fan of the Unreal Series (except Unreal 2). :)  I also have only a classic CC unit, doesn't look like it would be really playable there. But I can't see any graphical bugs so far, so we can hope that the Pyra will get an propper UT port that runs much better than onto the Pandora. ^^

There's still a chance of real UT on the CC Pandora, but it will be through different shenanigans than just x86 emulation. Also, any graphical bugs would be glshim's fault and I can fix those.

Does multiplayer work? I'll probably wait until the Pyra comes out to buy this though, unless licenses are transferable between devices. If I buy it for Pandora for example, would I have to pay again for Pyra? Or could I deactivate the license on Pandora and reuse it on Pyra?

Everyone should definitely sign up for the preorder to show interest, but I don't recommend buying it for the Pandora until there's some measure of official support for the Pandora and my GL changes (my setup is super hacked up right now, and would not work for most of you).

You probably shouldn't buy it for the Pyra yet either, as the Pyra isn't going to be out for a while. Patience will benefit you here.

Licensing is officially on a per-device basis.

I signed up for the pre-order, and in the "Full Name" entry I included a note voicing my support for an Openpandora/Pyra port.

OK well I did the preorder thing. If it's usable by the time it comes out, I may buy it. But I may wait for the Pyra to come out.

I wish I had an OMAP5 development board.
