nVIDIA SHIELD™ Portable 2 - Coming soon?

Nvidia announced the Shield at CES in 2013 .  I wonder if they will announce a Shield 2 at CES in 3 weeks time.

Well, on the 3rd of March Nvidia plan to redefine the future of gaming, wonder what that could mean?

Hope that means an update of the Shield Handheld to use the latest & greatest Nvidia chipset, the X1, got a suspicion that it will be something to do with Nvidia Grid.

It says it's been in the making for 5 years, I doubt it's anything to do with any shield line they have. The original portable came out in 2013.

Its going to be gaming controller that doubles as a time machine.
That's already have been done, design by Michael Bay it seems:

I have a strong suspicion they will launch a Android TV Gaming box.  Probably call it Shield TV.  There has been a strong recent rumor that they would launch such a thing.

Don't forget , the Tegra SOCs were meant to go into the Nexus Player , but Google/Asus renegged and went with Intel at the 11th hour.  Remember the prototype/dev box of the Nexus Player had a Tegra 4 in it.  A Nvidia Blog also said the Nexus Player would have a Tegra SOC in it.  But something went a miss.  So yeah, I presume now they launch there own box

There is also another rumor that they will be getting their SOCs into 3rd party Smart TV's

But who really knows , it could be anything I suppose

Probably a PC/game console with some innovative peripherals.

I would love to see a tiny X1 based set top, box (the Vita TV form factor is a good example).

I actually use the Shield tablet this way now and it is a great way to stream PC games to the TV.
