I vote we call the P2 'The Dragon' - The OpenPandora: Dragon!

Why are you guys getting so fancy and complicated?  I vote for the name "Pandora 2".  :D    Why? Because we call the first one "Pandora.  The story of the Pandora is amazing, and we've spent so much time and effort to market that name.  So why throw that name away now?

My $0.02  :)

Let's just say, if ED and Craig were to both make their own successor they couldn't both call them Pandora 2..

I mean, they could try, it'd be pretty damn messy though.

Yeah, pretty much ;) Craig's would be called XOP right?

I vote we call it the Open Pandora 2 "Craigix"   :)   or maybe Pandora X ... (we can skip 2 through 9)

Not that this is a democracy anyhow.  As senior judge in these parts I can call it whatever I like.

Because we don't want to be tied to one of the organiser's names, and ED would be uncomfortable about it?

Sarcasm (as I've noticed first hand on these very boards) is a bit of a delicate "art form".  On an international website like this?  Fogetaboutit!  Something always seems to get lost in the translation.  I'm beginning to learn that I can't even rely upon "American" staples as a reference.  This is probably good for me.  I need to learn how to be a better, more generally communicative person first.  There is no reason for geographical or ideological differences nowadays.  I want to work together with you all.  Seems like there aren't as many language barriers as there were in the past.

English is the international language of business/commerce/information, and I have it easy.  There are some posters that show up that might mean well and yet their own language holds them back (as far as convos and such).  Maybe that Perusa guy will try the German Boards and work out some differences...who knows?   Some people may tip-toe around matters that seem to be sensitive issues, whilst certain people might find these things to be common everyday human activities and yet other people might be offended by the very notion of such a thing....whatever that thing/topic/idea is at the time.  It's a true test of a Moderator here, to properly react on a global forum such as this.  I'd say that things are in good hands.

The Moderating team is bigger  - but maybe it's too big.  Keystone Cops are clunking heads.  I was a bit "uppity" when I arrived....maybe.  No doubt that I might seem a complete mystery and appear to be downright crazy at times, by others.  Basically what I'm saying is that things get lost in translation, and that depends more on how worldly-traveled or how educated someone is - usually the originator of a post (IMO).  So, I'm an idiot and I came on here still thinking that I could be my regular "gonzo" obnoxious (Facebook) self.  No way.  Not here.  I'm doing people a disservice if I'm "that guy".

I should have known that I needed to mostly keep it "technical" and Pandora-related here....been reading these pages long enough.  I've really enjoyed reading logical discussions.  I've enjoyed reading Exo's posts and Bismuthdrummer's and even Overgauss' insanity - mostly because I enjoyed watching a verbal car wreck that occupied an entire page.  He could really talk about nothing....and yet I almost enjoyed reading it.
