ED, you look like a rock star!  :)   Any chance quitting the pandora.org and become a rock singer or go on American Idol?    Just kidding.  Merry Christmas and keep working on Pandora 2 to make Dreamcast, Sega Saturn, and PS2 emulators possible!

Wow, the old CC Classic Boards are still flying around and even arrived at GC? That's indeed news for me, nice. I guess most of them are already rusted and dead but maybe some can be ressurected. :)  Could be a cheap way to join the "Pandora Club". ^^

I still have my old classic 256MB CC Pandora, I can imagine to update the board to the 1GHz edition, so I would have a black cased 1GHz Pandora with the old (and better) LCD screen. However, the 320€ are stil la good bunch of money, maybe more sold Pandoras can drop the prices a little bit more. We will see.

Frohe Feiertage weiterhin. :)

The LCD on the old Pandoras is not that great with motion blur so shudder to think what the "NEW" screens are like.

I thought the ghosting on the old LCD was minimal, even Sonic Hedgehog played great!

Some people complain of ghosting. I've never seen it myself at room temperature. There was the one winter evening I was waiting for a bus last year...

I quite agree. You've been a majorly busy guy this year and have frankly worked wonders. Have yerself a good break.

It's been a fantastic year for Pandora. Of course I would say that, since this was the year I received mine. It has been and continues to be absolutely indispensable. Here's hoping 2013 and on bring you richly deserved rewards for your efforts.

I've been following Pandora from day one but never thought I'd own one. 2012 was the year! Merry Christmas ED!

Merry Christmas to all!

big thanks to all the people working on all of the fronts (software, hardware, marketing, support) especially you ED

My pandora is, without a question, my favorite and most used device.

I feel so much better now about the cross-upgrade I put in last week. I just found $300 of prize money lying around that I forgot about, gotta love when that happens! :D

Thanks for everything, and a merry christmas! Hope you get some much-needed relaxation.

(I'll be expecting my Pandora to ship out soon, though. :p )

Your FireFox can't play YouTube?

I had the same problem. It seems youtube didn't finish re-encoding the video to all formats. :(
Ahh, I see. YouTube usually takes a while until all formats are finished.

Ok, good to know :) .

The pandora is them OP teams baby, but I would recommend to read this studies.

The 9 at the end of a price is good working trick. 280€ is meh. 249€ is super since it is a price border. Not sure if this price is really possible, but it is an eye catcher.  A lot of people trying to get such a price and increase the shipping costs to make it possible (which is cheating, I think you won't do such a thing, you are a honest guy ;) ).

A good example (just do it with 249€ instead 280€):

I think I must be rather unusual.

When I see a price like '$39' I see 'product costs $40, but backhanded salesman is trying to trick me'

Prices ending in a '0' are a sign of honesty and straightforwardness :)

2+ digits is too much for a lot of people, they stop at the first one.

if putting the Pandora at a *99 price point means more sales and (pre-order queue clearing) that's all good.
