WANT!!!

Yes, yes, the animation might need a bit of polish, and the tone of conversations might or might not need a bit of tweaking, but that's minor things. I drool.

The more games the merrier! :) Really I hope more commerical offerings come to our beloved platform as it just means there is more variety in the types of games available.

I love the look of it so far and I wish you success!

Hello everybody.

We've got exciting news about Days of Dawn! We've just started our kickstarter-campaign on http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bumblebee/days-of-dawn

This is a wonderful chance to support this project and also get great rewards like the games soundtrack on a limited edition signed audio cd or a collector's edition (on a much reduced price for early backers) and many, many more cool rewards.

The basic funding will be covering the PC, Mac and Linux versions (which you will get by supporting the project with only 15$). This version will be the base to build the Pandora-version on.

We'd be very happy to see you guys becoming part of this project. And please, spread the word!

Thank you,

Tassilo

Wow, this looks beautiful. Would be amazing to see it on Pandora! Hope you guys reach your kickstarter target - what happens if you don't? :S

Hard to tell. We wouldn't be able to continue developing it (as we now need to buy licenses for about 8000$ and pay the freelancers). At it's best, it would delay the project by several month, in the worst case… the game would die or would have to get sold to a publisher and would probably never reach the Pandora (too small a market to be interesting for big publishers yet).

I like to support Commercial endeavours when I see them for the Pandora.

Me too.

But I don't really care if it's a boxed version or just a download. Making it a download is probably easier for the developer and costs less.

But we definitively need more commercial games for the OpenPandora and I will support that by buying if it's at least a solid game.

Yep just pledged the $69 one. If you wanted shipping adding on to these you might wanna put them up on now :) . I do have a hardon for boxed copies of Linux games, cant sodding wait for wastelands 2...

I'm also willing to pay more for a pandora version, it's only fair (unless it becomes a stretch goal :p ).

If it does, we'll be giving it away to everyone having backed a specific amount yet to be defined. Thanks for your support!

I have spread the word on Twitter, Webdoc and Tumblr.

Can you do us a favor and mention on Kickstarter that there will be a version for the OpenPandora handheld? We want to spread the word for our product, too. :)

I really like the idea behind this game. I'm pledged in at $15 for now just to ensure I'm on the list and to get updates, but I will definitely upgrade later as soon as I figure out how much I can afford :p

As far as the Pandora version, I think I've become a little spoiled by all the cross platform indie games that have come out recently: buy once, get all the platforms. If it were available for the Pandora I would probably play it exclusively on my Pandora and might even pay a little extra for the privilege, but I'd still feel awkward not having the choice.

I'm in for $25 dollars at the moment.. Like WizardStan, I will most likely put in more if Pandora support is feasible.

Okay, i got you guys ;) I'm working on a major update regarding the Pandora. Stay tuned. Going to be awesome!

"Buy game for $20, get the Pandora package for $2 extra" or something. I'd do that in a heartbeat.

Just be sure to temper your expectations: Pandora sales will probably be measured in dozens to start, maybe a few hundred eventually.

Whatever you decide to do, I wish you good luck! :D

So if youre bringing days of dawn to Pandora via Android, are you going to make sure that the 1ghz users can play it? afaik, the 3d driver in android doesn't support the chip in the 1ghz version due to different hardware then the 600mhz version?

also, bringing it pandora via android is cheating :p
