Well, I just cancelled my Premium order (ordered on the 13th of June). I notice the order page still says that orders will ship in 7 days.

I'm afraid I just don't have any confidence that deliveries will recommence any time soon. I'm not prepared to have £370 tied up indefinitely, so it's time to take my leave.

Oh well :(

I'm still waiting for mine... perhaps for forever and a day. I feel it's too late to give up now. The very existence of "premium" Pandoras should be horribly offensive to me, but I've been out of pocket for so many years that I've moved on and let it go.

Well, it was originally supposed to have been my 40th birthday present. I would never have paid £370 of my own money for one as I just couldn't justify that much. It was easier for me to order it than for my wife to do it, but when it became obvious it wasn't going to arrive on time she bought me something else instead.

As I had already paid for the Pandora at this point, I thought "What the hell, I may as well just have it anyway", but as time passed I kept thinking that I shouldn't really be spending this much on a gadget.

By the time I heard about the Pandora project, Premium was the only option for buying. I can understand how people who have been waiting for years get upset about it, but if you want this project to be a long term success you are going to need a steady trickle of new buyers. Most people won't buy stuff on the internet unless they can pay by credit card and they will expect a firm ship date.

Thanks for your support to date. It is a lot of money (premium) especially when it's delivery schedule changes to non premium!

Having said that I waited two years and four months for my pandora, and now that I have one, it ain't going anywhere!

When they first announced the premiums I just knew there would come a time when they could no longer satisfy the 7-day delivery.

They really ought to remove that will ship within 7 business days notice until they can guarantee it.

I'm really surprised they haven't. Google automatically sent me an email asking me to rate the OpenPandora shop a few days after I ordered. I didn't bother, but you have to wonder if Google would revoke OP's ability to accept payment via Google Checkout if they receive a lot of negative reviews/cancellations. I'm assuming this would be a disaster for them if they use the same account for iCP payments.

If people order based on being told 7 days, then later check the forums to find out that OP have known they haven't been able to ship for at least 2 months, you could understand them getting annoyed and leaving a bad review.

It wouldn't end well, that's for sure. The Pandora site is somewhat neglected, and a lot of attention is being given to the iControlPad and its website at the moment, but that would be no excuse for the delivery expectations not to be updated promptly!

I'd bung an email to sales, directing their attention here: http://openpandora.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=97&Itemid=34&lang=en

The LAST thing that this project needs is even more bad press and detractors. So yes, that website needs to either be taken down or modified if the team can't deliver on the 7-day promise, for whatever the reason may be.

Indeed. People have been saying this for at least a month now. I understand that ED is quite busy, however not changing this one sentence is costing them their reputation.
