Raspberry Pi - 25 Dollar PC on a USB stick

back at our normal activities I guess...

When will be my pandora shipped? :D

Ain't it. All I got was the RS register interest page, but my interest was registered ages ago. Farnell site I can't even load.

So tired now I'm going to snooze for few hours and looks like I'll be waiting till they got lots in stock. Both sites probably sold out and just taking more email addresses to alert when back in stock eh.

I wonder how many of the people buying these really know what it is they are getting? Bare ARM circuit boards running linux aren't exactly the easiest systems to use (I've got a beagleboard and a pandaboard es).

Spectacular fail. Raspberry Pi have ruined my birthday, my life, killed my dog, shouted at my cat, punched my mother and run off with my wife.

Perhaps I'll score one in Two Months?

surely sooner, half of the people who bought it just want a cheap mediaplayer/desktop and won't be able to make them work... there'll be plenty on ebay once they start to ship...

I got it confirmed now that Farnell only deals with companies and RS only ships within UK. Great planning.

Well, I guess today is not the day then.

Raspberry Pi ought to have verified this and should have ensured direct links and proper availability on the two sites before going live.

Shows again that you can't really rely on business partners doing a reasonable job.

no joy here, got a "register interest" page from RS before the site went down and farnell has so far refused to load. epic fail.

@Caine is there an equivalent of Maplin ( http://www.maplin.co.uk/ ) here in the Netherlands where you can buy components, breadboards etc? /offtopic

raspberrypi just confirmed that farnell is out of boards and RS just allow you to "register interest" and will only take order on the weekend...

seems more and more like an epic fail to me
