Android handheld comes with 9 emulators, looks like Wii U GamePad

JXD S7300 HD Gamepad2

Another day, another Android gaming console/handheld. This time though, rather than a unit that is intended to only run Android games, the unfortunately named JXD S7300 HD Gamepad2 not only plays Android games, but comes with nine pre-installed emulators as well.

First, the Gamepad2 comes stock with Jelly Bean 4.1.1, sporting a 7-inch 5-point capacitive display with a 1024 x 600 resolution. It has a 1.5GHz dual-core ARM Cortex A9 CPU, a Mali-400 MP2 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of on-board storage, a front-facing camera, a USB port, an HDMI output that can display up to 1080p, two speakers, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, and pretty much the same buttons and layout of the Wii U GamePad. The Gamepad2 also sports wireless, 3G, and Ethernet connectivity.

Though manufacturer JinXing Digital notes that the Gamepad2 can play over 100,000 Android games, the real gem is that it comes pre-installed with nine emulators, including the original PlayStation, Neo Geo, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo 64, Famicon, Super Famicon, Sega Mega Drive, and the Capcom Play System 1 and 2, which are arcade boards that used cartridges.

The Gamepad2 also comes with the Superuser app, which allows the unit to be rooted.

If this sounds like something you want to eventually prominently display alongside your Ouya and GameStick, you can snag one for $165.99, or you can include a 32GB microSD card for $186.99. Online retailer Willgoo offers free shipping on either items.
